The Liturgy Documents, Volume Two, Second Edition includes the praenotanda from the ritual books for the celebration of the sacraments, exposition, funerals, blessings, and the Liturgy of the Hours. It also includes important liturgical documents for celebrating Masses with children, the sacraments with people with disabilities, and the Sacred Paschal Triduum. Each ritual text is preceded by a pastoral overview written by renown liturgists and theologians. The outlines provide context regarding the authority of the document, guidance for interpretation, and theological key themes. This collection is an indispensable resource for students of liturgy, seminarians, clergy, and all who prepare the sacred liturgy and catechize the faithful.

Readers should be aware that since the original publication of this resource, many of the included documents have been superseded by new translations of ritual texts. Although these documents are no longer current, their theological guidance of the included ritual texts and pastoral overviews are still helpful and provide a context for the liturgical celebrations. As the translations of the ritual texts are finalized and approved by the USCCB and the Holy See, this edition will be updated to include the new translations.
