How are Catholics maintaining a ritual of prayer while at home? For over a decade, Daily Prayer has been a trusted daily resource for Catholics in deepening their faith and prayer life. This easy-to-use resource is particularly useful for individual or family prayer, as well as group prayer in small groups or virtually.

Daily Prayer draws on the long tradition of lectio divina, providing a simple order of prayer for each day of the liturgical year from the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 2020, through December 31, 2021.

Daily Prayer is the perfect gift for parish volunteers, teachers, catechists, students, parish community, and all who want to foster a practice of prayer in their daily lives and stay connected to a greater community.

With Daily Prayer, you can:

  • Gift it to your parish community, liturgical ministers, priests, catechists, teachers, students—all who could use a resource for daily prayer in their homes
  • Use at the beginning or end of virtual or in-person parish meetings
  • Use it for personal devotions or leading small groups

Daily Prayer will be with me this year and for many years to come. Its interpretation of the day’s reading provides a perspective that never would have occurred to me. Daily Prayer helps me to pray better, providing more meaningful words and understanding to my prayer.

—David J. Nahs, St. Jude Catholic Church, Peoria, Illinois

I have used Daily Prayer for many years. It sets a positive tone to my day. Daily Prayer is perfect for busy people who want to spend a few quiet moments with God before starting their day.

—Leslie Palmer, Sacred Heart Church, Castleton-on-Hudson, New York

Every workday, for over 10 years, Daily Prayer has been a simple, profound guide for our team to start the day rooted in Scripture and united to the whole Church throughout the world. Following the readings and reflection, we each offer, through Our Lady, intentions for all our schools and families, particularly those struggling and for the repose of the souls of those we have recently lost.
