At Home with the Word® guides you to a deeper understanding of the Sunday Scriptures, allowing you to connect with the Word during and outside Mass. This resource provides readings for the liturgical year, including responsorial psalms, and seasonal prayers that accompany your Scripture readings. Insights from Scripture scholars provide additional context to the Sunday Scripture and aid in developing a robust understanding of each week’s readings.

A key feature of this resource are the suggestions for living out the Word through practices of hope, faith or charity. Also included are prayers and reflection questions that encourage you to find ways to integrate the Word into your daily life. Ideal for both individuals and small groups, At Home with the Word® will nourish you all week long to act on God’s Word in the world.

The cover art of At Home with the Word® presents a biblical perspective on the Eucharist. Readers can reflect imaginatively on how God feeds us in various ways, especially through the Eucharist. The first of the three-year series depicted Jesus feeding the crowd of five thousand. This year’s cover, the second of the series, portrays the amazement of the widow of Zarephath on the abundance of oil pouring from her jug (1 Kings 17:7–16). Her faith and hospitality to the prophet Elijah are rewarded by God.
