A new translation of the Order of Christian of Adults has been approved for use in the dioceses of the United States. This product continues to be useful to those involved in Initiation ministry as the vision of Christian initiation has not changed but references to the official text will be updated in subsequent editions. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults should be an integral part of every parish. An important part of this process is establishing a good catechecumenal team under the leadership of the pastor and his designated RCIA coordinator. Ideally the coordinator is someone what has been a part of the process and has had training in the theological and practical aspects.
