Written by Maureen A. Kelly and based in part on Paul Turner's book for adults, Understanding the Revised Mass Texts, this resource explains the changes in the Mass texts at a very simple level so that children who have already learned the parts of the Mass, the prayers and responses, and have received first Holy Communion will understand the changes in the texts and be able to respond at Mass.

This book includes

    - explanations of the words,
    - the parts of the Mass and their meaning,
    - glossary,
    - activities, 
    - color photos.

This book may be used by children in third through seventh grades. As the companion

A supplemental fill-in-the-blank activity has been prepared for teachers and catechists to use in the classroom or for children to take home and fill out with parents. This fill-in-the-blank activity provides all of the main prayers of the Mass that will be changing. This activity will help children learn the revised prayers of the Mass and help them respond when these changes take place.
