Taken from today's practices, this is a thorough study of the relationship between ecclesial ministry and the Christian community, as well as ordained ministry and service or lay ministries. Ministries are discussed from a historical perspective, from Biblical times to the present; from a theological perspective, in an ecclesiological-community context. The book proposes ways to address these ministries and relationships.
