Chicago Studies:  Continuing Theological Development for Parish Ministers

Chicago Studies is a theological journal for those serving in parish ministry.  While sacrificing nothing in scholarship, it is always written with the parish minister in mind.

Designed to serve the needs of priests and directors of religious education, its scope has grown with the development of new ministries since the Second Vatican Council.  The Church of Chicago has been a leader in these new ministries and Chicago Studies has kept pace with the development.  Pastoral Associates, DRE’s, Deacons and Lay Ecclesial Ministers, along with bishops and priests as well as educated laity, turn to Chicago Studies for insight into the theological questions of the day.

Published three times a year - fall/winter, spring and summer - Chicago Studies provides articles grouped around a particular concern of the Church and its ministry, along with various short articles and reflections.  It is edited by priests of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the facilty of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake / Mundelein Seminary.
